New catchphrases that Kenyans have added to their vocabulary

Kenyans have come up with new catchphrases borrowed heavily from politicians and government officials in this election period.

Witty Kenyans have compiled a list of the catchphrases that have cropped up in the ongoing campaigns.

Inspector General of police Joseph Boinnet leads the pack of state officials prolific with cryptic answers on TV interviews.

Here are a few the trending catchphrases.

“We shall revisit”

“Let’s talk after the election”

We are investigating the matter.

“If any of our officers is found to have gone against the law, action will be taken”

“We do not take collective responsibility”

“That is a lie. If you have evidence, show me”

“No one has reported that to us”

“Let’s not politicize the matter”

“That’s an operational matter. We do not disclose our deployment”
