Nakumatt Holdings expects to make Sh11 billion turnover between November and January.

Kenya’s largest retailer is projecting over 10 per cent sales growth this festive season compared to last year due to positive economic climate and falling inflation.

Managing Director Atul Shah said during a Christmas tree lighting ceremony at Thika Road Mall (TRM) research showed general shopping centres, malls driven and stand-alone store would experience good growth.

The chain expects traffic to more than double with an average daily traffic of 300,000 customers generating at least 175,000 transactions across Nakumatt’s branch network.
