Nakumatt manager in court over death of supermarket employee
A senior Nakumatt manager has been charged before the High Court in Nairobi with the killing an employee of the retain chain.
The court heard that Steve Kairo Abdul, a transport manager of the chain of supermarkets, shot dead Stephen Wafula on November 10, 2015.
The court heard that Mr Kairo shot dead Mr Wafula at around 10.20am on the fateful day, at the company’s head office on Mombasa Road.
He denied the charge when he appeared before Justice Jessie Lesiit and the court ordered a probation report on him.
The report will be brought to court on July 27.
