Nairobi to miss out on annual year-ending Groove Party

The annual gospel bash, Groove Party, which takes place every end of the year in Nairobi is likely to be held venues away from the capital city.

Unconfirmed reports have it that this year’s edition of the Groove Party, which is sponsored by Safaricom, could be held at two other locations.

According to sources, the annual party which has in recent years been gospel music fans’ way of ushering in the New Year might be held at Thika and Machakos towns.

Last year, the event featured over 50 performers, including international artistes, on three stages at Safaricom Stadium in Kasarani.
