Nairobi MP robbed while on holiday in Diani
Roysambu North MP Waihenya Ndirangu was on Monday night robbed of cash and personal belongings at gun point in Diani, Mombasa.
Mr Ndirangu was attacked at the gate of Bright Star Apartments at around 10pm when two men, one armed with a pistol, confronted him and forced him out of the car.
They robbed him of Sh35,000, Samsung mobile phone valued at Sh35,000 and other personal belongings before they disappeared.
The legislator was not injured.
Police have questioned the guard, Mr Stanley Obat over the incident.
