Nairobi First Lady joins Sonko’s battle to clear garbage menace – PHOTOS
Nairobi First Lady Primrose Mbuvi has excited social media after enrolling to Governor Mike Sonko’s army that is battling garbage mounts in the city.
Ms Mbuvi over the weekend took part in the cleanup campaign, dubbed “Operation Ng’ariisha Jiji”, in Ruai. She went ahead to demonstrate how the job is done.
“Watu wangu Kabla nisahao earlier today my lovely wife Primerose Mbuvi officially launched her program “Operation Ng’arisha Jiji” a general cleaning exercise that shall cover the entire county. My mission as Governor is to completely transform and restore our city’s once glorious image,” wrote Governor Sonko on his Facebook page.
Netizens expressed mixed reactions, however a large number were amazed that she could operate an excavator.
