Murkomen still a big Raila fan despite rivalry
Elgoyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen has excited social media after admitting to be a fan of Raila Odinga despite his public negative comments against the Nasa Leader.
Journalist Saddique Shaban had taunted the senator by posting a photo of a young Murkomen with Mr Odinga during his university days.

“It is fair to say that at one point, @kipmurkomen was a big fan of @RailaOdinga during his youthful days at the University of Nairobi,” tweeted Saddique.
“I am still is fan,” responded Senator Murkomen alongside another picture of himself shaking hands with Mr Odinga.

Senator Murkomen’s comment was received with skepticism from Kenyans who questioned why he would continue criticising MR Odinga if he is his fan.
Saddique wrote; “How then should we interpret those “chilli sauce” comments from you to your fan?”
Andrew Ogolla said; “Raila is still doing the things that made him matter to Kip Murkomen, its only that he is drunk with dreams of Ruto becoming president in “7092”
“First photo of kipmurkomen… Be thankful to BABA mheshimiwa,” commented Hon.Charama.
But that was not all. Other online users expressed surprise at seeing the picture.
Mohhamed sheriff said; “Kumbe murkomen ni mshamba hivyo.” While Price Chalo tweeted, “So, there was a time that Kipchumba Murkomen was this naïve to take a picture with Rt. Hon @RailaOdinga. It’s okay.”
Nduva Peter Muendo commented; “Seems Murkomen was also among those young men who believed in Railas ideologies n vision to a better Kenya? What’s your take Murkomen?”
@orapidiorapidi said; “Anyone who forgets history and truth is a slave.. Have had many people giving testimonies, articulating in detail how God has uplifted them Glory to our political father Raila Amollo Odinga for making Murkomen who he is today.”
