Moyes to be sacked, Giggs to take over – reports

Manchester United’s manager David Moyes could finally be paying the prize for the lacklustre season, according reports in the English media on Sunday, which claimed the Scot is headed for the door.

The Daily Mail claimed Moyes could be “sacked by Manchester United in the coming weeks and could even go before the end of the season.”

“If the former Everton boss is sacked before the season’s end, club legend Ryan Giggs will be asked to take over team affairs,” it added.

The Guardian claimed ” it appears only a matter of time before the decision is taken.”

The media reports said the chief concern for the board is how bad the team have played throughout the season under Moyes, with little sign of improvement.

Borussia Dortmund’s Jürgen Klopp, Diego Simeone of Atlético Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain’s Laurent Blanc and the Holland coach, Louis van Gaal will all be discussed as the next potential manager.
