Central Region traffic police commander Jane Kuria confirmed the accident, saying that investigations are underway. The police boss however noted that no arrests were made as the occupants of the MP’s car fled the scene.

“The occupants of the vehicle fled but they will come in to record statements. What we gathered is that the Prado was trying to overtake but collided head on with the motorcycle,” said Ms Kuria.
