The list, which was restricted to age limits of between, 15 and 36, had a coverage of 28 countries on the African continent with Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana and Kenya leading with 19, 18, 10, 7 representatives respectively.

While commenting about this year’s list, the President of the Africa Youth Awards, Prince Akpah, noted that this year’s edition of the list was exceptional with an unprecedented gender representation of 55 men and 45 women.

NOMINATION CRITERIA

Africa Youth Awards is a prestige award scheme whose aim is to appreciate the works of young Africans in Africa and the Diaspora.
