Money fight turned into a hugging match and the memes are unforgiving
Fans flooded Twitter on Sunday with funny memes to ridicule the fight of the century that turned into a soppy hugging session.
Viewers moaned about the low number of punches thrown between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather
McGregor, 29, who was making his debut as a boxer, never fought reckless or overly aggressive, in contrast to his prediction of a first-round knockout.
What he did was present Mayweather with a poised and credible challenge, teasing a bright future in the boxing game should he consider it.
But Twitter users felt Mayweather did not deliver.
