Mombasa fuel storage facility engulfed in fire
Fierce fire has broke out at fuel storage facility near Kenya Ferry Services behind Nakumatt Likoni in Mombasa.
The cause of the fire is still unknown even with flames and thick smoke bellowing from the storage facility.
Members of the public have also shared photos and recordings of the fire using their their mobile phones.
There have been evacuation of people in several buildings around the scene of fire with oil tankers being driven out of the area.
Kenya Power has also disconnected electricity supply lines around the scene. Contingent of Administration Police officers on the ground containing the crowd.
