Mombasa based musician Sudi Boy loses wife to pneumonia
Sudi Boy, a musician based in Mombasa, lost his wife Salama Lutevesi to pneumonia at the Coast General Hospital.
The burial that was set for Tuesday has however been postponed indefinitely over a yet to be known reason.
The musician posted on his Instagram account that a new burial date will be announced later.
“Habarezenu mabibi na mabwana, hamjambo, mpaka sasa bado mambo ya mazishi kutokana na mambo flani kidogo lakini tutawajulisha pindi tu tukisha elewana asanteni,” he explained.
The artist had on Monday turned to social media to mourn his wife; “Ulikuwa mke wangu, mpenzi wangu, rafiki yangu dah. ulinipa moyo sana kua nisigiveup hata siku moja. mapenzi yangu kwako hayatawaiishahayatawaisha. yani sijui nieleze vp yote tisa nilikupenda sanaa ila mungu alikupenda zaidi #R.I.P #R.I.P MKE wangu kipenzi changu SALAMA LUTEVESI.”
Sudi Boy made his debut in 2007 with his hit song Banati.
His other songs include Amini Mimi, Naona Bado, Merimela and a collabo with Kaka Sungura Twende.
His fans flocked his Facebook page to pass their condolences for his loss.
Mvumilivu Rahma posted; “Pole sana bro kwa kifo cha mpenzi wako. Jipe moyo.”
Daniela Kondo wrote; “It must be very painful to lose your young wife but we have you in our prayers Sudi”
“Pole kwa msiba uliokupata ndugu yangu jipe moyo hili wingu litapita,” Subira mchokozi posted on his facebook page.
Salama will be laid to rest Tuesday. May she rest in peace!
