Missing hikers found after losing their way in the Aberdares

The three University students and a tour guide who went missing in the Aberdares have been rescued deep in the forest.

They were found alive but very exhausted.

The three students have been airlifted to Nairobi Hospital while the tour guide was rushed to JM Memorial Hospital in Ol Kalou.

They were found by a joint search team composed of police and the Kenya Wildlife Service using two helicopters.

Kipipiri OCPD Charles Rotich said the four were among a group of 60 people on a hiking excursion in the Nyandarua County forest.
