Socialite Vera Sidika has emerged from a brief hiatus from the limelight to reveal her latest lighter look.
Queen Bee, as she is popularly known, has never made secrets about her routine use of skin lighteners.
On Saturday, she graced a corporate event at Park Inn By Radisson in Westlands, during the launch of a champagne brand in Kenya, where she looked much lighter.
Sidika started her journey to a lighter skin in 2014. She later explained during an interview with NTV’s Larry Madowo that she felt she needed a change on her body.
She however sparked outrage recently on social media after commenting on her picture that she feels “comfortable in black”. The socialite was commenting on her long black weave, black bodycon dress and dark shades. But netizens twisted the post to make it an issue of racial pride.
In a subsequnt post on Snap Chat and Instagram, Ms Sidika shared a short video of her no-makeup look, leaving her fans impressed.
Many commended the bold move, saying she looked gorgeous without make-up.
