Man shot dead as gunmen steal cash from CBD shop

Robbers on Tuesday morning shot dead a client at the Hebatulla building along Kirinyaga Road and made away with an unknown amount of money.
Police say the three armed men entered a glass dealer’s shop at around 10am and ordered customers and attendants to lie on the floor.
“They then demanded that every one of them surrenders their valuables to them,” Central OCPD, Paul Wanjama said.
He said the robbers shot a client who did not cooperate with them before escaping with an unknown amount of money from the dealer.
Mr Wanjama said police have begun investigations into the incident that left other people injured.
Although no one has been arrested in connection to the incident, Mr Wanjama said police have obtained crucial information for their investigations.
