Littered estates show services failure

January 6th, 2014 1 min read

The littered streets in many of our estates are a testament to just how low county government services have sunk with time.

Growing up in the city in the 70s, the defunct City Council of Nairobi had hired workers who used to go around the estate collecting litter and the city was cleaner for it.

Today the only county government workers regularly seen in the estates are the inspectorate officers who are known more for soliciting bribes.
