Lip syncing Soul for Real booed off stage

The much anticipated concert by Soul for Real in Nairobi on Friday night failed to live up to expectation as the American group was booed off the stage after just 30 minutes into their performance.

The show which went down at the Carnivore Simba Saloon was to be the culminating act of the special live edition of popular bi-monthly club night, Lost In Tha 90s, organised by Capital FM.

Soul for Real were set to bring back the golden era of R&B which was to be a major throwback down memory lane concert but they only ended up lip syncing much to the annoyance of the fans who paid Sh5,000 for the show.

The group is best known for their mid-1990s worldwide hits like Candy Rain and Every Little Thing I do from their platinum selling album Candy Rain.

After the American singers were ejected from the stage it was left to DJ Adrien and DJ Pinye to work up the crowd.
