Did Donald Trump deserve all that bashing by #KOT?
The whole of Wednesday the hashtag #SomeOneTellDonaldTrump was trending as the incensed KOT did what they do best – they bashed the American Presidential candidate with funny and outrageous memes. But was it justified?
What angered Kenyans were reports to the effect that Trump had said that “Kenyan athletes who won at the IAAF World Championships in Beijing are all fraud and conmen.”
But from Trump’s Twitter handle there seems to be no such tweet either by him or his team.
Even KTN’s Morning Express breakfast show got entangled in the debate with presenter Sophia Wanuna bashing Donald Trump for his ‘hate’ tweet on Kenya’s performance in Beijing.
This is not the first time that Trump has gotten himself in controversies of a similar nature.
Last month some local media house published what was purported to be Trump’s statement saying that he would deport all Kenyans living in the United States if he is elected president.
The article further claimed that Trump had said he would also deport President Barack Obama.
During his campaign Donald Trump has been widely criticized a lot for some of the statements he has made.
