AFC Leopards unveil kit for new season
AFC Leopards have unveiled their new kit for the 2015 season.
The home kit is predominantly the original Rio Tinto which has the white and blue horizontal stripes.
The away kit consists of a red and black shirt with black shorts. The goalkeeper shirt is predominantly orange and black.
AFC Leopards captain Martin Imbalambala expressed his delight at the new kit and said it was the best way to start the year in the wake of recent financial problems that faced the club.
“I love the look of this kit. For me it stands out and the away kit is also amazing,” said Imbalambala.
Leopards have signed a two-year kit sponsorship deal with Edge Sports and Apparel who will supply them with match and training merchandise.
The Sh 3 million deal signed last year is the first of its kind in the country, with the club set to benefit directly from the sale of genuine replicas through the Edge Sports and Apparel franchise.
Fans can buy original replicas at all Naivas Supermarkets and the Nairobi Sports House. Replicas of the home and away kits retail at Sh 2,500. Children wear will cost Sh 2000.
Edge plan to roll out more outdoor and indoor sports and casual outfits with Ingwe brand.
