KQ plane damaged after tow truck rams into it – PHOTOS


A Kenya Airways aircraft suffered a minor damage after an airport tow truck rammed into it on Sunday midnight.

The aircraft, a B-737-800 was expected to operate flight KQ764 from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) to Johannesburg, according to the airline.

“The incident involving an airport tow truck happened during push back of the aircraft from the bay damaging part of its fuselage and engine,” KQ said in a statement.

“Kenya Airways would like to confirm that there were no injuries. Flight KQ 764 was later cancelled to allow for further investigations and all guests were accommodated on other flights.”
