#KOT slam underperforming leaders with hashtag for change
Kenyans on Twitter have started a campaign dubbed “Fagia Wote” to urge the electorate to vote out all underperforming leaders elected in 2013.
Using the hashtag #FagiaWote, users uploaded videos and photos of poorly done projects, naming and shaming the leaders behind them.
The campaign has led to the creation of a Twitter account in the same name.
Twitter users urged the electorate not to vote for any incumbent who either misused public funds or is rushing to do last-minute development projects.
Here are some of the tweets.
