Konshens shines at show
As thousands of Nairobi’s dancehall music fans braved the heavy downpour on Saturday night at KICC, Jamaican star Konshens who was the main attraction said in the middle of the show that he was dedicating it to the victims of the Westgate shopping mall terrorist attack.
“The first time I came to Kenya, I fell in love with this country,” he said while on stage.
“I felt very heart broken the other day while I was watching the news, when terrorists opened fire at innocent people in the shopping mall. I’m dedicating this show to the victims.”
Konshens who performed for two hours did not disappoint his fans as he sang hit after hit.
The Guinness Evolution concert had a great turn out, despite the heavy rain.
