The youth in Kiambu Sub-County have been advised to stop buying pornographic materials and frequenting strip clubs as the habit will corrupt their morals.

Joe Muriithi, a youth pastor at the CCF Church, said Kiambu town had seen an increased number of such business enterprises.

The pastor, while speaking to KNA after a morning glory session at the church Friday, regretted that most of the youths were finding pleasure in strip clubs not knowing it affected them mentally thus resulting in spiraling of crime and antisocial activities.

Mr Muriithi revealed that the church was involved in counseling to the youth against engagement in such activities.

Joyce Muthee, a parent urged youths to indulge into activities that will add value to their lives and shun visiting entertainment spots that lured them into destruction.

Felix Ndung’u, another parent said addiction to pornography was affecting children of as young as 10 years.

He said the advent of social media through the internet had led to the increase of pornographic content which are also accessible via smart phones.
