Kenyans bash Uhuru for vowing to impeach Raila
President Uhuru Kenyatta’s comments telling Nasa presidential candidate Raila Odinga to brace impeachment should he be elected president on October 17 has angered some Kenyans.
The head of state bragged of having an upper hand in both Houses of Parliament where majority of elected members coming from the Jubilee party.
“If Raila is elected how will he lead? How? In the last Senate we could not pass Bills…but presently, we can do business without a single Nasa member. In the National Assembly, with over 200 members we are 13 members shy of a two-thirds majority meaning we can change the Constitution.
“We have to tell Kenyans the truth. Even if he is elected we have the opportunity in Parliament within two [to] three months to impeach him,” Mr Kenyatta said.
The president made the remarks on Monday afternoon at State House, Nairobi while addressing Kamba leaders.
Currently the Jubilee party has 163 elected Members in National Assembly from the 290 constituency’s in the country.
This is excluding the nominated members of parliament.
In the Senate they also hold an upper hand with 24 compared to Nasa 20.

Uhuru Kenyatta and Hassan Omar have the same characters, they get very emotional after losing and are not willing to accept and let go.
