Kenyans will on Thursday next week stage a peaceful street protest over the emerging cases of runaway corruption in the country.
The walk that will begin from the Freedom Corner in Uhuru Park past Parliament Buildings, the Supreme Court and end at Harambee House.
Active citizens have been called upon to join in the protest organised by Buyer Beware Kenya, Her Voice Kenya, Spincord Kenya and One Billion Rising Revolution.
The protests will take place just a day before the Madaraka Day celebrations.
Activist Boniface Mwangi shared the poster urging Kenyans who have been speaking about corruption to show up and “take collective anger to the streets.”

The protests come amid investigations to establish culprits behind the latest scandals at National Youth Service, National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB) and the Youth Enterprise Development Fund (YEDF).
At NCPB, there is alleged theft of subsidised fertilizer worth Sh6.3 billion and payment of billions of shillings to traders and middlemen, funds that were meant strictly for farmers.
YEDF is faced with alleged inconsistencies in the disbursement of loans during migration of the Fund’s data into the new enterprise resource planning platform.
