Kenyans mourn PS who succumbed to Al-Shabaab inflicted injury
Kenyans have continued sending messages of condolences to the family of Public Works Principal Secretary Mariam el-Maawy who died on Wednesday while undergoing treatment in South Africa.
The late PS was attacked by Al-Shabaab in July in Lamu county where she was shot in the chest and fractured her hand.
Her nephew, trainee pilot Arif Kassim, was killed during the attack and his body found badly mutilated and burnt.
