Kenyan gold diggers’ chance to land Africa’s richest man Aliko Dangote

Africa’s arguably most eligible bachelor Aliko Dangote is looking for a wife.

The Nigerian billionaire, with interests in oil, food processing, cement manufacturing and freight says he is getting old and needs a companion.

He told Financial Times in an interview; “I’m not getting younger. Sixty years is no joke…but it doesn’t make sense to go out and get somebody if you don’t have the time. Right now, things are really, really very busy, because we have the refinery, we have the petrochemicals, we have the fertiliser, we have the gas pipeline…I need to calm down a bit.”

Dangote has three grown up daughters, the youngest, Fatima got married in March in a lavish wedding attended by among others Microsoft owner Bill Gates.

His other two daughters Halima and Mariya have bore him grandchildren.

Dangote has been divorced twice. He is a Muslim and can marry up to four wives.

His busy schedule, he said, sees him receive up to 100 calls daily despite Tony Blair’s advice to him to screen his calls.

Dangote disclosed that he rarely gets more than five hours of sleep a night and that his doctor recently recommended that he gets some rest.

The mogul, during the interview, disclosed his ambitions to buy Arsenal Football Club.
