Keli welcomes new strike partner Tuyisenge to K’Ogalo

Gor Mahia forward Jacob Keli has backed his soon to be club teammate Jacques Tuyisenge to flourish in the Kenyan Premier League.

Keli and Tuyisenge, the club’s latest signings in the current transfer window, are expected to form a new look strike force for the league’s defending champions in the 2016 league season.

Keli returned to the Kenyan Premier League after a six month unsuccessful stint in Zambia, whilst Tuyisenge, has been a key player for the Rwandan national team and club side Police FC.

The two will replace another Rwandan Meddie Kagere and Micheal Olunga who have left the club.

“He (Tuyisenge) gave us a hard time during the Cecafa (Senior Challenge Cup). He is a quality acquisition who will strengthen us,” Keli told Nairobi News.

Meanwhile, Gor Mahia will face Ethiopian giants St Georges in a high-billed pre-season friendly on Thursday evening.
