Kaimenyi to release KCSE results on March 3

Over 450,000 Form Four candidates who sat last year’s Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams will know their results on Tuesday, March 3, the national examiner has announced.

Kenya National Examinations Council’s chief executive Officer Joseph Kivilu said on Tuesday that the 2014 results would be released by Education Cabinet Secretary Jacob Kaimenyi at Mitihani House in Nairobi.

“Immediately after the release by the cabinet secretary, parents and students can send the candidate’s index number to 22252 to access the results,” said Dr Kivilu in a statement.

The CEO also advised candidates to thoroughly scrutinise the results for correctness and ensure accuracy of names, index number and gender, school name and code, and individual subject.

“Any discrepancy noted should on the examination results should be reported within one month from the date of release of the examination results. This includes any appeals for remarking,” said Dr Kivilu.
