Gospel singer Kaberere to be buried on Friday
Gospel singer Peter Kaberere, who died on Sunday afternoon, will be buried this Friday, close family members and friends say.
Kaberere, popularly known as Kabz, worked with Lena (Leonard Ochieng’) in the group Jogg C and one of their hits was Fundi wa Mbao, which they did in collaboration with Gospel Fathers.
Until his death, he was with Mo Sound Events, where he produced some of the biggest events in Kenya like the Groove Awards and Safaricom Live concerts.
Friends and relatives are meeting at Parklands Baptist Church, Westlands, every evening.
There will be a memorial concert at the same church on Thursday evening.
On Friday, there will be a funeral service at Christ is the Answer Ministries, Valley Road at 11am, and burial will take place at Lang’ata cemetery thereafter.
