Pastor Ng’ang’a’s ‘herder’ slashes KTN cameraman with machete

A team of journalists were on Friday attacked at Pastor James Nga’ng’a’s home in Karen where they had gone to cover a reported robbery.

The crew from KTN were attacked by a group of vicious youth and a camera man, only identified as Nyongesa, sustained injuries.

One of the attackers was reportedly wielding a machete. He is said to be the preacher’s herds-boy.

The journalists had gone to the preacher’s home following reports that gunmen had raided it early Friday Morning and stolen an unspecified amount of money believed to be more than Sh500,000.

The gunmen are said to have gained entry into the house by cutting window grills at around 3.30am, before making away with the money and electronics.

Other journalists who had gone to  cover the story were advised to seek police escort from Hardy police station.
