John Cena breaks up with fiancée weeks to wedding day
Wrestling couple John Cena and Nikki Bella on Sunday announced their break up just three weeks before their wedding.
Cena, who proposed to Nikki during wrestling filming in April 2017, had sworn never to get married after divorcing his first wife in 2012.
During the proposal he claimed to have changed his mind, but sources told People Magazine that Cena started having cold feet as the wedding day drew closer.
Nikki announced the end of their engagement on her Instagram page writing; “While this decision was a difficult one, we continue to have a great deal of love and respect for one another. We ask that you respect our privacy during this time in our lives.”
Cena quickly followed with a Twitter update that described loss and heartbreak.
Hardship, loss, and humility are extremely difficult waters to navigate, but perseverance thru them builds a strength to withstand anything life throws your way.
