Jimmy Gait set to launch his Sh1.3 m video
Gospel musician Jimmy Gait will this weekend launch his new video Makekes on Trace TV.
The song is a collaboration with an upcoming artiste Papa Dennis, who is supported by the Maliza Umaskini Initiative. The initiative is headed by businessman Sadat Muhindi.
Sources say the video cost them Sh1.3 million.
Jimmy and Papa Dennis are the first Kenyan artistes to shoot a video with Africa’s top video production stable Godfather Productions which is based in South Africa.
Godfather Productions have directed videos for most of Africa’s leading musicians like P Square, 2Face Idibia, Bracket, AY among others.
“The video will play on Trace TV for a week before other stations such as Channel O, MTV Base and local channels can pick it up,” said Jimmy.
