Jimmy Gait back in studio after controversial song
Gospel singer Jimmy Gait is back in the studio to record another song, just weeks after releasing the controversial song Makekes, featuring Papa Dennis.
Jimmy told Chillax that he will be releasing the new song in under a week.
“I know I have not given my other song Makekes enough time to play, but that’s not an issue. I just felt that I needed to release new music as often as possible,” he said.
Makekes, whose video was shot in South Africa, became controversial when other musicians and fans dismissed it saying that the ladies featured are dressed in revealing clothes.
Some of the gospel TV shows refused to give it air play, saying it was more secular than gospel.
