Popular Kenyan singer Charles Kanyi, famously known as Jaguar, on Sunday flaunted his wealth on social media, but also recounted his rise from a humble beginning in Nyeri.

The musician, long known to enjoy warm relations with Pressident Uhuru Kenyatta, on Sunday paraded on social media his fleet of top range vehicles and his magnificent rural home.

In the postings on Facebook, Jaguar narrated his grass to grace story which saw him leave his poverty stricken home 13 years ago with no shoes on his feet.

“I left my home 13 years ago with no shoes… God’s work #the return,” the singer said.

A week ago, he took to his Facebook page and posted guzzlers which he simply captioned, “My View.”

It is noteworthy  that Jaguar’s streak of showoff comes days after gospel musician Alex Apoko, popularly known as Ringtone, had declared himself the richest musician in Kenya.

Ringtone, who recently released the hit song ‘Tenda wema‘ with Tanzanian songstress Christina Susho, took to his Facebook page to rant about his detractors and critics who hate his success.

In the post, Ringtone crowned himself as Kenya’s richest musician and gave pictorial evidence to prove his status.
