Gospel singer Mercy Masika wants to meet the street boy who trended on social for singing a rendition of the hit single ‘Mwema‘.
The video of the boy singing out the song went viral on social media last week, with Senator Mike Sonko appealing to the gospel singer to reach out to the boy.
Sonko shared the video on Facebook and wrote: “Feeling blessed, please share until it reaches Mercy Masika.”
The video seems to have reached Mercy who took to her Twitter handle on Tuesday and requested for information on the boy’s contacts or whereabouts.
“I have watched the clip of the boy singing my song and that is amazing, I know that is talent and if mentored it could be something better,” said Mercy in a video clip she posted on Twitter.
