Infinix set to launch its latest phones in the Zero series

Infinix is set to launch the latest phone in their Zero series following the launch of Infinix Zero 3, Infinix Note 2 and Infinix Note 3.

The new Zero 4 and Zero 4 Plus features a metallic body with a fingerprint scanner located underneath the camera.

The front is adorned with a large 5.5 inch IPS display of 1080p (1920 x 1080) resolution. From the front, the phone looks simplistic and features three capacitive touch buttons at the bottom. Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protects the screen from scratches and bumps.

On the inside, the Zero 4 features an Octa-core processor which should be powerful enough to get the users through most heavy applications easily, and it is very decently powerful.

The phone also comes with 3 Gigabytes of RAM and 32 Gigabytes of internal storage and a microSD card with expandable storage of up to 128 Gigabytes.

The OS is your standard affair with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. Infinix’s XOS skin brings some new features on top of Android Marshmallow.

OTHER SPECS

The back camera is a 16 MP shooter with optical image stabilization and a dual LED flash. This should offer a pretty good camera experience on its own although the quality of the images is to be seen.

The front camera uses an 8MP sensor with something called a soft flash.

The battery is adequate for a phone with a screen of this size. A 3,200 mAh unit powers the phone with fast charging tech known as XCharge. The battery should easily last through the day on medium usage.

What remains unconfirmed is the screen size of the Zero 4 Plus, but it looks like it is going to be slightly bigger than that of Zero 4, (with 5.7″ display for Zero 4 Plus against 5.5″ display for Zero 4).

Both devices will feature Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection with full HD display and a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

November 25th, the Infinix Zero 4’s launch day, is fast approaching so we are not far away from knowing the truth.
