I’m not your age mate: Raila responds to Duale’s graft claims – VIDEO
Cord leader Raila Odinga has rubbished remarks made by National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale to the effect that he takes money from Governors affiliated to his coalition.
Speaking during a press briefing on Thursday at Capitol Hill, Mr Odinga said he had no time to address Mr Duale since they are not age mates.
“We are not age mates with honorable Duale, his fellow MPs will respond to his allegations. I won’t respond to his remarks because its all rubbish,” said Mr Odinga.
Duale in his accusations had also claimed to have proof of the payments, among them Sh 20 million that the former Prime Minister received to attend last year’s swearing in of Tanzanian President John Pombe Magufuli.
“I am ready to appear before the senate and Raila Odinga must also appear before the senate,” said Mr Duale. “I’ll only speak to you if Odinga does.”
