I’m getting my second Mercedes this year – Dr Ofweneke

The New Year always comes with new things and funny man Dr Ofweneke is not one to be left behind.

Beyond being one of Kenya’s most successful comedians, he is an investor with various businesses under his wings and last year he added a club to his rich portfolio.

Speaking exclusively to Nairobi News, the funny man explained that when it comes to life and business he takes things very seriously.

“Last year I attended a Vision Board party by Hannah Githuki and it taught me the power of having a vision. He says. Covid-19 made it impossible to achieve most of the things I had planned but it taught me to be focused and go after my dreams. This year my plan is to get a second Mercedes and I am going for it,” Dr Ofweneke said.

According to him, most successful people, especially in showbiz squander their wealth because they lack a vision for their lives.

Hannah Githuki will be hosting a Vision Board Party on Wednesday January 13, at the Social House Hotel in Lavington.

The event is targeting professionals of all walks of life, many who are facing hard economic times due the adverse effects of Covid-19.

Dr Ofweneke holds that the only way to get through these tough times is through vision and persistence.

“There is no company, professional, comedian or organization that can succeed without a vision, it’s like living your house every day without knowing exactly where you are going,” he added.
