Hustler Nation on the spot for ‘failing to explain’ bottom-up model

Kenyans on Twitter (KOT) have roasted politicians affiliated with Deputy President William Ruto for reportedly failing to explain the bottom-up economic model they hope to implement if their boss succeeds President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The sentiments come days after Kandara lawmaker Alice Wahome and his Kikuyu counterpart Kimani Ichungwa appeared to struggle to break down this economic model in separate television interviews.

Wahome, in an interview with Citizen TV, suggested the bottom-up approach is equivalent to ‘working from the bottom down’ while Ichungwa also stammered through his explanations.

To which, Kenyans, in their usual mischief, opted to make fun of.

The bottom-up economy is one that consists of scores of smaller, regional economies, which in turn are built on the economic activities of households, neighborhoods, and communities.

Despite the perceived failings by his lieutenants, the DP has maintained this model will ‘move the country to the next level’.
