Humble Governor Kibwana shows Nairobians what they’re missing at City Hall

Nairobians who have been observing Makueni governor Kivutha Kibwana in recent days must be grappling with one big question: Just how did we end up with Mike Sonko?

The sagely Prof Kibwana was on Tuesday pictured waiting patiently in traffic on Thika Road. His car had no sirens, neither was it accompanied by chase cars.

His impressive manners and sense of humility, it seems, is shared by his drivers.

The silver grey Prado waited in traffic alongside other vehicles, a sharp contrast to how Sonko’s motorcade often intimidates motorists with sirens and chase cars on Mombasa Road when he is heading to his Mua hills home.

Governor Kibwana’s Communications Director Isaac Ongiri confirmed to Nairobi News that Prof Kibwana is in Nairobi for two days to attend official meetings.

The user who shared the photo of Governor Kibwana’s vehicle on Ma3route Twitter handle said he was impressed with the governor.

Frank replied; “Kivutha Kibwana for you!”

Zack Njoka added; “That’s Makueni governor…the people’s servant.”

Michelle Buky wrote; “This is how it should be!!!! Not causing traffic as if you are the only one who has work to do!”

Kibor Alex stated; “Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana. Development commensurate with behavioral.”

Governor Kibwana has previously won the hearts and minds of Kenyans with his gestures of humility and dedication to public service.

Many Kenyans think he will be the ideal presidential candidate in the 2022 general elections.
