Huawei Mobile has rolled out Light up with color campaign that will see it traverse different universities Kenya in a bid to attract university students to engage and interact with Huawei.

Among the phones that were showcased in the campaign are Y3ll, Y5ll, Y6ll, and GR5mini.

Huawei’s Light up with color  campaign has been especially designed to engage today’s youth to truly enjoy life in color and music—anytime, anywhere—leveraging the unique features of the Y series range of phones. The campaign aims to bring together young people from around the country through their shared passion for fun and music, which both have the power to draw forth youth’s potential and unite people from all walks of life. Music, in particular, is at the core of youth culture and plays an important role in advancing their socialization and creative self-expression.

Light up with color campaign launch saw Hart The Band entertain guests to their melodious tunes such as Uliza Kiatu. The sensational music outfit lit up the stage not only with their poetic lyrics and witty performance, but also with their renowned colorful outfits that resonated well with the campaign theme and the devices whose design is tailored towards the youth’s colorful lifestyle.

Light Up with Color Campaign will see Huawei Mobile partner with celebrated Video DJ and TV host Willy Tuva of Mseto East Africa to tour different universities and campuses in Kenya publicizing Huawei’s new colorful smartphones.  Mseto Campus Tours will officially take place from September through to December 2016.

“Huawei Mobile believes in providing devices targeting specific customers in terms of value for money. This campaign will ensure that the younger generation get to interact with Huawei Mobile through its product offering that is mainly tailor made for their specific needs.” Said Millicent Ngatia – Head of Marketing, Huawei Mobile Kenya.

The smart phones will also come with free colorful back covers.
