How things went down at the ‘Jameson Connect’ – PHOTOS
From the skimpy dresses to the alcohol effect on the youthful crowd which gave the security on duty a hard time, this year’s ‘Jameson Connect’ did not disappoint.
Perhaps it is because the event mainly attracted youngsters who opted to hang out together.
Surprisingly, a good number of them confessed that they had no idea who American singer Ty Dolla $ign, who headlined this year’s event, was. But that did not affect the fun.
Then there were the small fights that kept breaking out among inebriated revellers who perhaps were just letting off steam.
The area was filled up with right from the entrance, to the food joints and to the bar area as the young generation kept itself busy living life.
The Ty Dolla $ign performance and South African Nasty C’s had them really excited.
Jameson Connect, did connect.
On stage, Kenya was represented by several artistes, including Kagwe Mungai and Fena Gitu who both worked up the crowd with her lively music and sound.
Octoppizzo was also there to remind everyone that he is still around while his rival in the rap business Khaligraph Jones left the whole crowd in unforgettable awe after he stepped on stage carrying a white casket.
The Kansoul did not fail to hold the bar high with their alcohol anthem Bablas, which brought the old and young to jam to this one loyally.
It would be great injustice if we failed to mention the excitement that the local acts created.
The Deejays too measured up equally as they kept the already hyped crowd going all night long.
