Hessy Wa Dandora: Wanted Gaza gangster felled in hail of bullets
Police in Dandora killed a suspected armed robber on Monday night who is believed to be a member of the notorious Gaza gang.
The suspect, identified only as Kigonyi, was in a company of four others, two twin brothers only identified as Kamaa and Ndisho.
His accomplices escaped into the Dandora dumpsite.
Hessy Wa Dandora, a faceless crime buster who warns suspected robbers before killing them, posted on Facebook that Kigonyi was one of the wanted robbers in Nairbi.
“His colleagues Kamaa and Ndisho managed to escape into Dandora dumpsite after a fierce exchange with the police,” he said.
It is alleged that the five were on a robbery mission when they ran into police on patrol. A shootout ensued leading to the death of Kigonyi.
Members of the Gaza gang have recently been on the run as the police intensify their crackdown.
Last week, reformed members of the gang told Nairobi News that members are moving out of Nairobi and into neighbouring counties to evade the police dragnet.
