Here’s Njugush’s hilarious version of ‘Tichio Challenge’
Comedian Timothy Kimani better known as Njugush has left his online followers in stitches with a funny impersonation of viral video that captured an unidentified woman’s rant over Raila Odinga’s withdrawal for the presidential election.
The woman in the video expresses her displeasure with Mr Odinga’s move and asks him to reconsider his decision and take part in the October 26th elections.
“… Sisi kama wakaazi wa Kenya tunataka ajirudishe hapo. Asiseme ati nimejiondoa kwa hiyo uchaguzi. Sisi tutaenda petition huko kortini, sisi ndio Wanjiku, ndio tutachaguana. Na tukienda kortini tutasema akae kwa ballot, tuchaguane tarehe 26, hii wakati iishe. Kwa sababu sasa anatutumia kama sisi ni tichio… sisi sio tichio,” lamented the woman in the video.
It is the tichio (tissue paper) punchline that captured Njugush’s imagination in the reenactment, giving rise to the hashtag #TichioChallenge.
