Harambee Stars players ‘had an orgy’ in hotel before match

Harambee Stars players are yet again on the spotlight in the wake of reports that some players were involved in a sex orgy in the team’s hotel moments to or after the match against Zambia last weekend.

Nairobi News understands that three players managed to sneak in a female companion to the team’s hotel on Saturday evening.

Although what exactly transpired thereafter cannot be independently verified, it is believed at least two of the three might have had sex with the middle aged lady.

The errant players were said to be a midfielder and two strikers

COACHES ASLEEP

“What is for a fact is that there was a lady roaming our corridors late into the night on Saturday evening which is needless to point out is strictly prohibited. The coaches were asleep and thus might not have been aware,” our source at the national team revealed.

Harambee Stars players have in the past attracted negative headlines. During the 2012 Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup in Uganda, two stars players were expelled from the team’s camp in Kampala after inviting a female companion to their hotel room.

And just last week, another Kenya international footballer was questioned by Police for reportedly assaulting his pregnant girlfriend following an argument over a TV remote.

BLUNDERS

The loss to Zambia on Sunday, which resulted from several blunders committed by both the players and technical bench, reduces Stars chances of qualifying for the next Africa Nations Cup set for Gabon in 2017.

Kenya now lies last in its group that also includes Congo Brazzavile and Guinea Bissau.

The team now needs to win all its remaining four matches to stand a chance of securing qualification to the continental event for the first time in more than a decade.
