Governor Kidero fires senior advisor at City Hall

Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero has fired one of his senior advisors for misconduct.

Former MP Martin Otieno Ogindo was Governor  Kidero’s advisor in Economic Planning, Finance and Strategy.

He was sacked because of “violation of the terms of your contract and conflict of interest”.

The letter of his sacking was signed by Acting County Secretary Robert Ayisi.

“Your contract with the Nairobi City County Government is hereby terminated with effect from the date of this letter on ccount of violation of the terms of your contract and conflict of interest,” the letter dated December 30 stated.

“You will be paid one month’s salary in lieu of one month’s notice and your gratuity pay for the time worked at 31%.” it added.

Mr Ogindo is the former MP for Rangwe.
