Gospel musician Kim in charity initiative campaign
Gospel songbird Loise Kim has urged fellow gospel musicians and other able-bodied personalities in the society to embrace charity initiatives so as to empower the needy.
Kim was speaking during a charity event organised by her organization, the Loise Kim Foundation, in Wangige area over the weekend.
The function was attended by thousands of her fans, politicians, well wishers and other artists.
“You need to remember those who cannot afford basics needs, and we have quite a number in our society. So save what you can, forward it to the necessary foundations and we will do our part,” said Kim.
The singer is renowned for hit songs such as Nathaniel, Ndara Ndii, Queen and Neti.
Kim’s foundation was founded mid last year, and strives to assist the orphaned children, destitute and those with disabilities acquire education, healthcare and clothing among other amenities.
