Sorry guys, Kenya’s arguably hottest female athlete Mercy Cherono is taken. The star is still bubbling with excitement following her recent engagement to businessman Edmond Ng’etich.

This event was graced by hundreds of friends and family, including Cherono’s fellow athletes and close pals Janeth Jepekosgei and Eunice Sum, who won the 800m World title in 2007 and 2013 respectively.

Cherono, who finished fourth over the same distance during the Rio Olympics last year, later posted a statement on social media to express her joy.
